What is Tele-health therapy?
Tele-health therapy in a nutshell is therapy over your computer or phone. Clients get the same type of effective counseling they would receive in person, it's just done through a computer/phone. Remember Skype? It's like that, however, I use a HIPAA compliant, confidential platform. It is a convenient and accessible method of seeking treatment without having to deal with traffic or parking and helps eliminate barriers so you can get the support you need.
Is Tele-therapy right for me?
Whether you are constantly on the go, work from home, or find yourself having hardly any time for self care, tele-therapy might be the right approach for you. Because this is a newer method of counseling, it comes down to your own personal comfort. Also, we will collaborate to ensure that video therapy is the right fit. Who is tele-therapy not for?
While video counseling is highly effective and has wonderful benefits, it is not for everyone or for all situations. For example, family therapy has not been well researched via tele-health.
